摘　　要：构建社会主义和谐社会是我们党在新时期的执政理念,人们在讨论和谐社会内涵、特征的同时,也在寻求构建和谐社会的途径。大连的海滨、园林等自然文化和广场、建筑、服饰、饮食、居住、交通、节日等社会文化,对构建和谐社会有着不同的作用。研究并发挥其作用将有助于促进大连市构建和谐社会,并为我国推进和谐社会的发展提供经验。＂To construct a harmonious society＂ is our party＇s idea of government in the new period. In the meantime when we are talking about the content and the characteristics of harmonious society, we are searching for the approach to construct har- monious society. The natural cultures of sea-sides and gardens of Dalian, and the social cultures of its squares, buildings, fashion, food, inhabitancy, traffic and festivals all have different effect on the course. To study the effect of them can not only greatly facilitate the construction of harmonious society in Dalian, it will also provide experiences for Chlna＇s promotion of the development of harmonious construction.
