摘　　要：布什第二任期以来，在对外战略上适度收敛扩张锋芒和单边黩武政策，突出“扩展自由”、借重多边主义和防范大国挑战。美对外战略调整，既给中美关系带来了加强协调、增进合作的重要机遇，也提出了一系列问题与挑战。Since the second term of the Bush Administration,the U.S.government has to pull its own horns in its external strategy of expansion and unilateral militarism by a moderate degree.Instead,it puts more emphasis on 'extended freedom' and makes use of multilateralism and takes precautions against challenges from the big powers.The U.S.readjustment in its external strategy not only brings an important opportunity for China and the U.S.to enhance and promote cooperation in their bilateral ties,but also raises a series of problems and challenges.
