摘　　要：本文从资金、技术、企业规模效益等方面分析了现代造纸工业的基本属性和特点。产业重视把握这些特点,以节能、降耗、减污、增效为目标,以不断开发采用新技术、扩大生产规模、实施循环经济为手段,取得了很大进展、成绩。展望了现代造纸工业可持续发展的前景。The basic properties and characteristics of modem paper industry are analyzed on the basis of the capital, technology and enterprise scale efficiency etc. The paper industry achieves a great progress for attaching importance to these characteristics, setting down the targets of saving energy, reducing resource consumption, controlling pollution and increasing benefit, by means of continually developing and adopting new technologies, enlarging production scale and carrying on recycle economy. The prospect of sustainable development of modem paper industry is viewed.
