摘　　要：以西安城市为例,应用层次分析法构建城市形象定量评价与定性描述相结合的系统模型.通过对城市形象的综合评价,指出西安城市形象具有良好的建设基础,交通、生态环境、产业等是形成西安城市形象"瓶颈效应"的强制约因子,同时从建设重点、城市规划与管理以及文化定位等方面初步提出城市形象建设的几点建议.基于层次分析法的城市形象评价模型可为城市形象建设提供依据,为城市创造和谐人居环境提供新的支点.The appraisal model of city image is built based on comprehensive analyzing and comparing the theory of city image. Taking xi＇an city as an example,the appraisal model is applied. The assessment results point out that Xi＇an has favorable foundation to build excellent city image,meanwhile Xi＇an has some disadvantage such as traffic, environment and industry. Some suggestions including priority of constructure, urban plan and management and determination of culture orientation have been proposed for the city authorities. The application of the model could offer reference to the assessment and planning of city image.
