摘　　要：全球化的冲击,使人们更加注意地域文化的保护,从而带有一种文化生存挣扎的意味。世界旅游业的发展也促进了我国对历史文化名城(镇)保护的重视。文章从文脉主义的角度出发解读古镇保护,对苏州的历史文化名镇木渎进行研究,并在对木渎古镇区进行保护与整治规划的具体的过程中,探讨了如何延续历史文脉。The impact of the globalization has made people consider more and more about the protection of local cultures, which becomes a theme of struggle and survival of geographical cultures. In addition, the global tourism has also stimulated the conservation and development of historic towns in China. This article explores the process of the conservation of historic towns from a perspective of context based on a case study of the famous historic town of Suzhou, MuDu. Particularly, this article is focused on how to maintain the historic context during the detailed process of the conservation and rehabilitation of MuDu.
