摘　　要：环境安全已经成为当前环境问题的热点而日益受到人们关注,建立和实施环境安全战略已成为当前环境保护的迫切任务。环境安全教育是实施环境安全战略的根本途径,在维护环境安全、防治环境灾害中具有重要作用。文章分析了环境安全教育的内涵,对环境安全教育的内容和特征作了探讨,并分析其在环境保护和环境灾害防治中的重要作用,提出了实施环境安全教育的途径和方法。Environmental security issues are more and moe concerned by the people, and become a hot spot of environmental problems at present. Therefore,constructing and actualizing the stratagem of environmental security are the most exigent task in environmental protection. Of all, environmental security education is the fundamental approach to the stratagem, and has important effect on environmental security and disaster prevention. In this paper the concept and characters of environmental security education are put forward based on the analysis of safety education and environmental education. ＇ The important function of environmental security education in environmental protection, disaster prevention and disaster mitigation are discussed. Effective approach and measure for environmental security education are put forward according to the current conditions of environmental education and safety education in China.
