中国草蝉属一新种(半翅目:蝉科)  

A New Species of the Genus Mogannia (Hemiptera:Cicadidae) from China

摘　　要：报道草蝉属Mogannia 1新种:海南草蝉Mogannia hainana sp.nov.,并与其近似种M.conica作了详细的比较。模式标本保存在中国热带农业科学院环境与植物保护研究所。In this paper, a new species of the genus Mogannia from Hainan province is described. Type specimens are deposited in Environment and Plant Protection Institute of Chinese Academy of Tropical Agricultural Sciences. Mogonnia hainana, sp. nov. （Figs.1） Body of smallsize, male body red-brown and covered with brown-yellow shorthairs, female body pure black or red-brown, head narrow than base of mesonotum, length of abdomen equal to head and thorax together. This species is similar to M. conica, but differs from the letter by： smaller body, yellow band stripe on modal line of forewing, tymbal covering short, phallotheca with 8 apex spines. In M. conica, without yellow stripe on modal line of forewing, tymbal covering longer, phallotheca with 6 apex spines. Measurement： based on 35 ♂♂, 10♀ ♀. Length of body： ♀9.9-12.4 mm, ♀ 10.7-12.9 mm; Length of tegmina： ♂ 11.9- 13.0 mm, ♀ 12.4- 13.9 ram; width of head： ♂ 3.0-3.1 mm,♀ 2.9-3.2 mm; width of base of mesonotum： ♂ 3.5-3.9 mm, ♀ 3.5-4.1 mm. Holotype： ♂, Danzhou City, Hainan Province, collected on 2001-Ⅶ-Ⅷ, by SHEN Yi-de; Paratypes 4 ♂♂ 3, 2♀♀, Danzhou City, Hainan Province, collected during Ⅳ-Ⅺ-2001-2002, by SHEN Yi-de and YANG Ji-qiong.
