摘　　要：地名既是一种文化现象,也是政治制度的反映。地名规划是引导城市经营和管治的重要工具,是城市规划体系的重要组成部分,是文化、技术集成的复合工作。中山市进行地名规划有助于加强对旧城改造、新区建设中的地名管理,提高地名标准化的内在质量,提升城市品位,对城市经营有重要作用。Placename is both a cultural phenomenon and a reflection of a political system. Placename planning is an important tool in guiding the urban management and administration. It is an important constituent of the urban planning system as well as the complex work integrated with culture and technology. The placename planning in Zhongshan is conducive to the strengthening of placename management in old city reconstruction and new area construction, improving the Inherent quality of the standardization of the placename and upgrading the urban quality, playing an important role in urban management.
