摘　　要：在足球视频中,很多足球事件的发生都伴随着具有不同风格标题条的出现。标题条的出现暗示着可能会出现一些特定的足球事件,所以标题条可以作为一种有效的上下文线索参与足球事件的检测。根据所处理的足球世界杯视频数据的特点,提出了一种基于投影和连通的标题条检测算法,其主要步骤包括灰度投影统计、标题条定位、连通性分析、标题条调整和验证。所提检测算法涉及多个参数的设定,所采用的方法是进行参数训练。实验中使用2002年世界杯的比赛录像对检测算法进行量化评价,结果表明所提出的标题条检测算法是行之有效的。The appearance of caption is quite common in the soccer video and usually accompanies the occurrence of soccer event. So the caption detection can be used as one of useful context cues in the inference of scour event. According to the characteristic of soccer video from the World Cup, it presents the caption detection algorithm based on the projection and connectivity information. The approach steps include： the gray- level projection statistic, caption positioning, connectivity analysis, region adjusting and caption verification. The proposed algorithm involves the multiple parameters and the method of data training. In the experiment the game video of World Cup 2002, it evaluates the detection performance, the results show that the algorithm is effective.
