摘　　要：种类繁杂的缝合材料因其固有的理化、生物学、机械特性以及相应的机体组织反应各有其不同的应用效果。了解其性能、结构和特点,针对手术具体情况,科学合理地准备与选用是外科医师和手术室护士必备的基本功,是保证手术成功的重要环节之一。Each type of sutural materials has its own particularities in physiology, chemistry, biology and mechanism. The different response of the body tissues to the materials may lead to a different operation result. It is the essential training of surgeons and nurses to appreciate for the particular strengths and weaknesses of the various sutural materials of their structure and functions and scientifically to select and preparal a proper type of sutural materials on a specific occasion. That is one of the importent steps to a successful operation.
