摘 要:针对模具产品复杂曲面电火花(EDM)加工中电极摇动引起的加工误差问题,提出了一种电极自由曲面非均匀偏置的补偿技术.该技术采用直接修改电极曲面几何形状参数的方法,根据电火花加工中电极不同的摇动方式和摇动量补偿了电极的自由尺寸.在偏置补偿过程中提取非均匀有理B样条(NURBS)电极曲面的基本参数,对电极曲面进行网格离散.根据电极不同的摇动方式,非均匀偏置离散网格.在控制误差下,逼近补偿后的非均匀电极曲面.结果表明,该补偿技术有效地解决了电极摇动的加工补偿问题,能够较大地提高模具产品的加工精度.For machining error of complex surface mold in electrical discharge machining (EDM) caused by electrode orbiting, a new compensation method based on free surface non-uniform offsetting of electrode was presented. The geometric shape parameters of free-form electrode were directly modified in the method, and the electrode free dimension was compensated according to the manner and distance of the electrode orbital motions. Non-uniform rational B-spline (NURBS) basic parameters of the electrode surfaces were extracted, and the electrode surface was adaptively scattered to a mesh in the compensation process of offset. According to the electrode orbiting patterns, the scattered meshes were non-uniformly offset. Under error control the electrode non-uniform compensated surface was approximated. Experiments results show that the developed method can compensate the electrode orbital motion, and improve the machining precision of the mold effectively.
