《察世俗每月统记传》刊载的科学知识述评

摘　　要：《察世俗每月统记传》是历史上第一份中文杂志,虽然它的目的是为了宣扬基督教教义,但其中仍有一些文章介绍了西方的天文学知识。这些内容在今天看来,有些并不完全正确,但《察世俗每月统记传》第一次完整地将日心说介绍给中国人,同时对各类天体运行以及天文现象都做了比较准确的解释和说明。Chinese Monthly Magazine is the first magazine printed in Chinese.Its aim was to advocate the tenets of Christianity,but there were some articles that introduced the knowledge of Hesperian astronomy.Although some of them are not true from present viewpoint,Chinese Monthly Magazine completely introduced heliocentric theory to Chinese for the first time,and gave a better explanation about the function of celestial bodies and the astronomical phenomenon.
