摘 要:制备多晶、透明的Nd:YAG陶瓷,测量其吸收光谱、发射光谱、荧光光谱及荧光寿命。它展现出的光学特性与单晶的性能几乎一样。但Nd:YAG陶瓷制备方法比单晶的生长技术简单。目前,可制造出大尺寸(现已达直径450 mm×10mm)和高浓度(10%)(原子分数)的Nd:YAG陶瓷。该文对Nd:YAG透明陶瓷的制备技术、光谱特性进行了综合评述,分析了陶瓷的光学性能比单晶好的原因。结果表明,这种Nd:YAG陶瓷比Nd:YAG单晶更具备良好的选择性。Polycrystalline, transparent Nd : YAG ceramics are fabricated, and their absorption spectra , emission spectra, fluorescence spectrum, and fluorescence lifetime are measured. It exhibits nearly the same spectroscopic properties as those of a single crystal. But the fabrication of Nd:YAG ceramics is much easier as compared with the single--crystal growth method. Large size (now of about 450 mm diameter × 10 available) and high--concentration (10%) Nd:YAG ceramics can be fabricated. The preparation technology , optical properties of ceramics are reviewed. The reasons why ceramics are better than single crystal in optical properties are also analyzed. The results show that this kind of Nd:YAG ceramics is a very good alternative to Nd:YAG single crystal.
