摘　　要：随着信息传输需求的迅速增长,40 Gb it/s光传输成为下一代通信网的必然选择。文章阐述了40 Gb it/s(STM-256)SDH光纤传输设备的基本原理和组成结构,分析了实现40 Gb it/s(STM-256)SDH设备需要采用的关键技术,介绍了烽火通信科技股份有限公司40 Gb it/s SDH设备的最新研究成果。With the rapidly growing need of information transmission, 40 Gbit/s optical transmission becomes the natural choice for the next generation communication networks. This paper describes the principle and structure of 40 Gbit/s （STM-256） SDH transmission equipment, analyzes the key technologies for their manufacture and presents the latest research results achieved by FiberHome Telecommunication Technologies Co. , Ltd..
