摘　　要：自动轧管机顶头寿命不仅影响钢管内表面质量，也影响生产成本。顶头除化学成分、组织状态及工艺条件外，表面的氧化膜对其寿命也有重要影响。正确选择和控制顶头制造以及使用工艺条件是提高使用寿命的主要途径。Plug life span of the plug pipe mill is associated not only with inner/outer surface quality of the pipe, but also with cost effectiveness.In addition to chemical composition,steel structure and process conditions of the plug,surficial oxide film of the plug also affects life span thereof significantly.It is concluded that proper setting-up and control of the technological conditions with respect to manufacture and application of the plug should be the main approach to increasing the plug service life.
