西汉中垒校尉“外掌西域”考辨

摘　　要：《汉书》记载西汉中垒校尉拥有“外掌西域”职权,后世学者对此却提出了质疑,有学者指出“西域”当为“西城”或“四城(门)”之误。但笔者详查史书,未能见到证明中垒校尉掌“西城”或“四城(门)”的确凿史料。随着近些年西汉考古资料的大量出土,班固关于西汉中垒校尉“外掌西域”的记载得到了证实。Because of different opinions in the historical documents on whether Zhongleixiaowei held power of the Western Regions or not in Western Han Dynasty, different scholars hold different attitudes towards this problem, Some scholars think that Western Regions is for the mistake of the“ West City” or“ Four City Gates”. With the discovery of Western Han＇s ancient relics, the record that Zhongleixiaowei held power of the Western Regions is proved.
