摘　　要：With the departure of the Shiyan-3, a research vessel of the CAS South China Sea Institute of Oceanology, from the Xinzhou Port of Guangzhou on July 14, CAS oceanographers started their summer investigation trip of the offshore environment in south China＇s Guangdong Province.
