Spectral Properties of Eu^(3+) Ion Doped in Nb_2O_5-La_2O_3-P_2O_5-Na_2O-BaO Glasses

摘  要:制备了χNb2O5-(10-χ)La2O3-60P2O5-10Na2O-19BaO-Eu2O3(以mol%记χ=9、7、5)的玻璃,测定了玻璃的吸收光谱、发射光谱、激发光谱、声子边带谱和差热分析曲线。从发射光谱出发获得了Eu3+光学跃迁的J-O参数Ω2、Ω4,并计算了Eu3+离子5D0→7FJ(J=1,2,4)的自发辐射跃迁几率A以及受激发射截面σp。结果显示,随着La2O3的增加和Nb2O5的减少,玻璃样品的热稳定性降低,强度参数Ω2减小,表明材料的对称性提高,共价性减弱,Eu-O键强减弱;随着La2O3的增加,电-声子偶合减弱,受激发射截面σp减小。The glass samples Nb2O5-(10-x)La2O3-60P2O5-10Na2O-19BaO-Eu2O3 (X=9,7,5 molar percent) are prepared. The absorption spectra, excitation spectra, emission spectra, phonon side-band spectra and DTA curves of glasses are measured. The Ω2 and Ω4 parameters of Eu^3+ for optical transition are calculated from their emission spectra. The radiative transition probabilities(A)and the stimulated emission cross-sections(σC)of Eu^3+ ion between ^5D0 and ^7Fj (J= 1,2,4)are obtained. The result indicates that with the increase of La2O3 and decrease of Nb2 O5 content, thermal stability and the intensity parameters Ω2 decreases. It suggests that the symmetry becomes higher,the covalence increases and the band of Eu-O becomes stronger. In the meantime, the electron-phonon coupling becomes weaker and the stimulated emission cross-section σP decrease with the increase of La2O3.
