摘　　要：文摘通过调查美国10所高校的信息共享区的建立年份、软硬件数目、工作站的数量和工作人员数量的数据,得出建立信息共享区在物理选址上、开放时间选择、服务内容等方面实践的经验,并论及我国图书馆建立信息共享区新部门以及所要注意的问题,最后预测未来信息共享区向图书馆共享区的方向发展。The paper defines the conception of information commons, and looks into the ICs in 10 universities of USA, then gains the datas about the ICs, which are the year of setup, the quantity of hardware and software, the amount of workstation and so on. Thinks we can benefit from the experience in the sides of choosing address, opening time, services contents and so on in our country. Finally, forecasts the future of IC.
