摘　　要：综述了1990～2006年问有关高纯稀土氧化物中痕量金属杂质电感耦合等离子体（ICP—MS）检测法的研究进展，内容包括ICP—MS应用中存在的主要问题、ICP—MS直接测定高纯稀土材料中痕量杂质以及分离技术与ICP—MS联用测定高纯稀土材料中痕量杂质技术。The developments in ICP-MS determination of rare earth impurities in high purity rare earth oxides are reviewed. As far as the determination of trace impurities in high purity rare earth materials is concerned, the studies from 1990 to 2006 mainly deal with three topics ： operation principle of ICP-MS, direct determination by ICP-MS, and determination by the combination of separation techniques with ICP-MS.
