摘　　要：期刊纸质版和电子版的同步出版及上网是科技期刊的发展方向。同为排版软件的“PageM aker”与“北大方正”在对期刊的排版中各有千秋,但“PageM aker”“所见即所得”的排版方式简单、易学,可生成PDF文件,还可实现远程审稿、修改和校对,使编辑部实现办公无纸化成为可能。The simultaneous publication of sci-tech periodicals in print and in CD or on Internet is a development trend. Pagemaker and Beida Founder, as composition software, have their respective advantages and disadvantages when compared. However, PageMaker is comparatively easy and simple to use with its ＂what-yousee-is-what-you-get＂ feature. Besides, PageMaker can produce PDF-type documents, and turn paperless ofrice into a reality by supporting remote reviewing, editing and proofreading of articles.
