摘　　要：信元丢失是异步转移模式(ATM)环境下图像通信的主要缺点。为了适应ATM网络特性,可采用图像分层编码(Layered Video Coding)技术来传送图像信息。本文提出了一种与JPEG标准兼容的小波变换静止图像分层编码方案,较好地补偿了信元丢失对图像造成的影响。Losing cells is the main defect of image communication under ATM. Leyered Video Coding(LVC) should be used to transform image information to fit ATM property. In this paper, we presented a wavelet transform LVC scheme compatible with JPEG, which can compensate the image damage caused by cell-losing.
