摘　　要：对虚拟潜望镜基本概念、工作原理和美国在虚拟潜望镜方面的研究及进展作了详细的论述。还对虚拟潜望镜的技术难度、使用局限性和应用范围都做了必要的论述。Basic concept, operational principle of the virtual periscope, research and progress of the virtual periscope in the U. S are discussed in detail. Technical difficulties, operational limitations and applicable range are necessarily described.
