摘　　要：电厂厂级监控信息系统(S IS)以降低全厂平均发电煤耗为目的,对于安全经济生产具有重要意义。实时数据库(RTDB)是S IS的核心,为S IS的开发提供了平台。现以此为主题,讨论了火电厂对于S IS功能的需求,设计了S IS的结构,并阐述了P I(P lan t In form ation)实时数据库在S IS中的具体应用,为电厂S IS的建设提供了参考。Supervisory information system（SIS） is an independent system between DCS and MIS in a fossil fuel power plant and plays an important role in the process of safe and economical production. Real-time database（RTDB） is the kernel and flat floor of SIS. Functions of SIS in power plants are described and structure is designed. Practical applications of Plant Information （PI） are introduced so as to apply to construction of SIS in power plant.
