摘　　要：首先界定面向图书馆的元搜索工具的概念,并与Google和面向网络的元搜索工具进行比较。在此基础上,讨论面向图书馆的元搜索工具的系统功能和系统结构、元搜索的检索方式和流程、相关标准和协议,以及与图书馆集成管理系统、图书馆门户、统一认证系统、链接解析系统以及课程管理系统等相关应用的整合等。最后给出现有的元搜索工具厂商的相关信息,并从检索、结果和相关标准等三个方面着重讨论元搜索工具目前存在的问题。This paper firstly clarifies the concept of library oriented metasearch application by comparing with the Google and Web-bases metasearch engines. Based on this, it discusses comprehensively the system functions and architecture, the search methods and workflow, the applied standards and protocols, as well as the integration with other library applications such as the library integrated management system, library portal, authentication, linking service and course management. It also provides information of several major metasearch application products and vendors. Finally, the authors discuss the important issues confronted by the development of metasearch application concerning the searching, result management and the lack of standards.
