摘　　要：On August 10, the construction of a UHVDC testing base of SG was started in Changping Garden, Zhongguancun Science & Technology Garden Zone, Beijing. The base will serve for research on UHVDC transmission projects.According to an arrangement of NDRC, UHVDC transmission projects will shoulder tasks of west-east electricity sending set in the national plan. CSG will invest in and construct ±800-kV 5000 MW Yunnan Chuxiong-Guangzhou Suidong UHVDC localizationOn August 10, the construction of a UHVDC testing base of SG was started in Changping Garden, Zhongguancun Science ＆ Technology Garden Zone, Beijing.
