Localization rate of desulphurization equipment reached 90 per cent

摘　　要：According to a release conference on development of thermal power flue gas desulphurization equipment held by China Electricity Council (CEC), the installed capacity of thermal power units with desulphurization equipment in operation or under construction reached 53 GW and over 100 GW respectively by the end of 2005. At present, China has got a capability of contracting (including design and equipment manufacture) flue gas desulphurization projects for about 100-GW generating units annually.According to a release conference on development of thermal power flue gas desulphurization equipment held by China Electricity Council （CEC）, the installed capacity of thermal power units with desulphurization equipment in operation or under construction reached 53 GW and over 100 GW respectively by the end of 2005. At present, China has got a capability of contracting （including design and equipment manufacture） flue gas desulphurization projects for about 100-GW generating units annually. In the 11th Five-Year Plan period, there will be 300-GW coal-fired units to be equipped with desulphurization facilities.
