广纳读者、免费服务是图书馆提高利用率进而促进和谐社会建设的切入点

摘　　要：目前我国图书馆的设置跟国际标准相比,还存在相当大的差距,平均每45万多人才拥有一座图书馆,但图书馆文献资源利用率低,资源浪费严重已成为不争的事实。图书馆只有从广纳读者、免费服务两方面入手,进行管理思想和管理模式的改革,才能不断提高利用率进而为构建和谐社会贡献自己的力量。At present, in comparison with the international standard of library construction, there is the long distance for libraries in China to catch up with it -- on average only one library per 0.45 million people, which is a surprising number. No doubt low availability rate and waste of resources has aroused great attention. Libraries in China should improve availability rate and make their own contribution to the construction of a harmonious society by reform management of thought and mode, meanwhile serve more readers and provide free service.
