摘　　要：通过在分布式数据库系统、并行数据库系统、多媒体数据库、面向对象数据库系统等几种新一代数据库系统的特点、应用等几方面进行了研究和对比,反映了新一代数据库系统的研究状况和发展方向.This article gives research and comparison on the characteristic, application and other aspects of some new database systems, including distributed DB, parallel DB, multimedia DB and object - oriented DB. It also describes the research status and development direction about these new database systems.
