摘　　要：分析医学期刊论文主题标引现状。发现主题标引存在的主要问题是选词不当,字面组配、副主题词组配不准确,揭示论文主题不全面等。建议医学期刊编辑在做主题标引工作时,应了解并掌握主题标引的基本知识、标引的基本原则及标引技巧,使标引工作进一步规范化,以提高医学期刊论文的标引质量,从而扩大医学期刊的影响力。This paper analyzes the present situation of subject indexing of medical journal articles and points out the problems in subject indexing process such as selecting unfit subject headings, literal combination, inaccurate subheadings, revealing article topic incompletely, etc. The authors suggest that medical editors should grasp the basic knowledge, principle of indexing, and indexing skills in subject indexing to make indexing further standardized and to improve the indexing quality of medical journal articles in order to expand the influence power of medical journals.
