摘 要:Objective To compare the DLT with the torque control blocker univent(TCBU) and to determine whether there are objective advantages of one over the other in one-lung ventilation during elective thoracic surgical cases.Methods 60 patients needing one-lung ventilation during elective thoracic surgical cases were randomly divided into Group D(DLT) and Group U(TCBU).The following variables were recorded and compared:①time required for intubation and position each tube,②ration of successful blind intubation,③ increase in airway peak pressure(PIP),④frequency of malpositions,⑤number of times that the fiberoptic was achieved,⑥surgical exposure,and ⑦incidence of sore throat or hoarseness.Results Statistical difference were found in increase of PIP and incidence of sore throat(P < 0.05).No statistical difference were found in the time required to intubation and position each tube,the ration of successful blind intubation,the frequency of malpositions,the number of times that the fiberoptic was achieved and the surgical exposure(P > 0.05).Conclusion TCB univent applied for one-lung ventilation is as good as DLT,and in some specific clinical situations it can offer more advantages over the DLT.Objective To compare the DLT with the torque control blocker univent (TCBU) and to determine whether there are objective advantages of one over the other in one-lung ventilation during elective thoracic surgical cases.
