Cultured ASMC were loaded with the fluorescent dye Fura 2-AM and cellular free calcium ([Ca 2+ ] i ) was determined by using digital image processing technique. AngⅡ induced a concentration-dependent increase in[Ca 2+ ] i .via voltage dependent calcium channel,which may be of therapeutic relevance.
