摘　　要：本文以评价理论为准绳，着重实例，从概念上分析“比较、主观、社会价值”的识别评价方法和从语言上分析词汇、语法和语篇的识别方法；分析和探讨评价三大功能，表达作者的意见，建立和维护作者与读者、说话人与听话者的关系，组织话语；同时指出评价的四个参数：好与坏（肯定与否定）、必然性、期待和重要性（关联性）。通过上述分析，以期有助于语篇分析和话语批评。Taking appraisal theory as a principle,this paper cites examples to analyse comparison,subjectivity and social value conceptually and lexis,grammar and text linguistically; explores the speaker＇s or writer＇s opinion; constructs and maintains relations between the speaker or writer and hearer or reader,so as to organize the discourse; and points out four parameters; goat or bad, certainty, expectedness and importance or relevance. In this way the theory is applicable to text analysis and to critical discourse.
