摘 要:This paper describes a more generalized transform domain receiver for Direct sequence Code division multiple access (DS-CDMA) systems. The proposed receiver is motivated by the equivalence of the transmitted signal forms between the DS-CDMA transmitter and time-frequency two dimensional Spread spectrum (2D-SS) transmitter. Bit error rate (BER) performance with Maximum ratio combining (MRC) and the computational complexities of the system are obtained. To combat degrading effects of multl-path fading channels, we also propose a simple channel estimation method for the generalized transform domain receiver. Finally, compared with the conventional RAKE receiver, the BER performance in uplink channels with frequency-selective Rayleigh fading is shown by computer simulations and the BER from the analysis agrees well with the simulation results. For the receiver based on 2D-SS, the BER upper bound is a little worse than that of four-finger RAKE but better than that of one-, two-, and three-finger RAKE over 3GPP TS 25.104 Case 3 channel. And over ITU-R M.1225 indoor office channel A, we note that the BER performance of the receiver based on 2D-SS is better than that of the conventional RAKE receiver using imperfect channel estimation.
