摘　　要：通过对目前岳阳市牧草业发展现状以及发展模式的探讨与分析,提出了岳阳市发展牧草业存在的主要问题及发展牧草业的优势和建议。The development of livestock grazing is the foundation of domestic and international markets for meat products. Yueyang city, located in the northeast of Hunan province and in the north of the Yangtze River, has superior natural and geographical conditions, favorable for the development of grazing industry. However, because the development of the south China pasture has started relatively lately, Yueyang grazing industry is still in the initial stage. Through discussion and analysis on the current status and development models of Yueyang pasture industry, main problems existed and advantages for pasture industry development in Yueyang city were put forward.
