摘　　要：本文在实地考察和调研的基础上归纳了美国烤烟生产管理、烟区生态条件、新品种选育推广及其配套栽培技术等为主要内容的烟草科研与生产情况,概述了以育种工作为中心的配套技术措施,讨论提出了我国可借鉴的育种工作与技术建议。Based on the investigation in American flue-cured tobacco growing areas, an all-around perspective into the American flue-cured tobacco growing practices is given, including environment, breeding and promotion of varieties, and auxiliary production techniques. What we could learn from our American counterparts was also discussed.
