摘　　要：元数据对于促进数据的管理、使用和共享均有重要的作用.在对土地利用现状数据元数据的描述和元数据构成要素及其关系分析的基础上,设计并分析了土地利用现状数据元数据管理子系统的框架结构和系统设计流程,结合实例详细介绍了用XML组织土地利用现状数据元数据内容和用XSLT转换XML文档的具体实现方法,最后在开发的土地利用现状管理信息系统(LandEx)中进行集成,实现了有效管理土地利用现状数据元数据的目的.提出并设计实现的土地利用现状元数据管理子系统在实践中具有一定的代表性和通用性.Metadata make the spatial data more effective and have great benefits in data managing, using and sha ring. The method how to design and realize land use metadata management subsystem has been especially discussed, Relationship of metadata inseape is first analyzed, then the module of managing metadata is designed and the process of designing metadata subsystem is analyzed, The XMI.（Extensible Markup Language） document is used as the way of organizing the content of land us metadata and the new technology XSLT（Extensible StyleSheet Language Transformations） is used to transform the document created by XML. The result is successfully integrated in the system of LanEx. The method that the paper adopted is of typical and general.
