摘　　要：本文对晚清西北舆地学的重要学者张穆及其代表著作《蒙古游牧记》进行梳理。在张穆诸多作品中,其《蒙古游牧记》成就最高,此书是张穆在蒙古地理历史和西北史地领域经心研究的结晶,它成为最早的研究边疆史地的著作,在当时和后世均有影响。Zhangmu was one of the important scholars whose research had the contextual effects on the historical geography of the northwestern frontier in late Qing period. This article is to probe into Zhangmu and his A Note of Mongolian Nomadic Life. A Note of Mongolian Nomadic Life was his most important achievement. It was written during studying on the historical geography of the north- western frontier. It was the earliest book on the historical geography, and had effects both in his age and in the later ages.
