摘　　要：本文运用大量文献史料,以上海(1874—1911)为考察中心,从“翻印”、“续书”及“图像”三个方面,细致论述了铅石印刷文化与明清通俗小说近代传播之间的学术关系,其中既有积极的推动作用,也有消极的负面影响；而正是在此传播环境下,白话小说史完成了从传统明清通俗小说向晚清新小说乃至现代小说的历史转型。This text relates the investigation of a large quantity of cultural heritage and historical data found in Shanghai (1874—1911),and deliberately works out both the positive and the negative relationship between the ty- pographic and lithographic printings and the modern spreads of Ming and Qing vernacular fiction:it was exactly in this environment that traditional Ming and Qing vernacular fiction changed to modern novels.
