摘　　要：城市广场设计的发展已走过很长的历史,到现在不仅要满足人们一般性功能要求,还要满足一种高品质文化生活的需求。该文针对现阶段城市广场设计中存在的问题, 在分析综合城市广场设计的发展脉络及趋势的基础上,并结合武汉市的洪山广场来说明现代城市广场的设计原则。The design of the city square has underwent a long history, however, nowadays, it should meet not only the general and functional demands of people, but also the requirement of their high-quality cultural life, In view of the problem existing in the design of the city square, the author put forward the principles of the design of the modern city square with Hongshan Square as an example on the basis of analyzing the process of development and the trend Of the design of the city square.
