摘　　要：James Joyce＇s epiphany and Virginia Woolf＇s moment of importance are both regarded as the main techniques of stream of consciousness. The discussion in this paper is focused on the three similarities and three differences between Joyce＇s epiphany and Woolf＇s moment of importance, based on Joyce＇s A Little Cloud and Woolf＇s The Mark on the Wall.
