摘 要:In intemational business negotiations, among all the relevant factors, awareness of different cultural environments plays an important role in effecting a success. Through focusing on such cultural factors as language, communication and values which are generally believed to be in full play, and by elaborating on their influence on the trans-cultural negotiations by involving the national cultures of Japan and Germany, this paper is intended to highlight the significance of considering cultural differences in all facets of business in the operation of international business negotiations. Transcending cultural limits is a formidable but essential task if negotiations with foreign parties are to succeed.
