摘　　要：This paper aims at discussing the challenge of translation criticism mainly through the analysis of the evaluation of two poems, covering the challenge of mastering both the source language and the target language, having a penetrating understanding of both the source language message and the target language message as well as the cultures of both languages, having to meet the general translation principles and no objective criticism criteria for critics to follow and so on. And finally it comes to the conclusion that translation criticism is the most challenging task under the sun.
