Synthesis of Polyacrylate Side-chain Liquid Crystalline Polymer by Hydrogen Bond Assembly and Its Characterization

摘  要:介绍以对硝基苯酚、异烟酸为主要原料首先合成一种介晶基元异烟酸对硝基苯酚酯(M0),然后选择4-(ω-丙烯酸乙氧基酯)苯甲酸为主要原料,合成带有长侧链的聚丙烯酸酯为主链的聚合物(P1),利用聚合物(P1)长侧链中羧羟基的给电子能力和异烟酸对硝基苯酚酯(M0)中氮原子的受电子能力,通过氢键自组装制备一种新型的氢键组装聚丙烯酸酯侧链液晶高分子的方法。并用IR和1HNMR对介晶基元异烟酸对硝基苯酚酯和氢键组装聚丙烯酸酯侧链液晶高分子的结构进行了表征,用DSC和热台偏光显微镜(POM)对它们的液晶行为进行了分析。结果表明,异烟酸对硝基苯酚酯和氢键组装聚丙烯酸酯侧链液晶高分子均显示出热致液晶性能,且氢键组装聚丙烯酸酯侧链液晶高分子具有向列型液晶织构。Liquid crystal compound p - nitrophenol isonicotinate (M0) was synthesized first from p - nitrophenol and isonicotinic acid as major materials, then polyacrylate side - chain liquid crystal polymer was prepared by self- assembly process using polyacrylate as hydrogen bond donor and p - nitronphenol as the acceptor. Liquid crystal compound and side - chain crystal polymer were characterized by IR and ^1HNMR. Liquid crystal behavior of liquid;quid crystal compound and side - chain liquid crystal polymer were analyzed by DSC and POM with hot stage. The result showed that they all exhibited thermotropic liquid crystal behavior and the latter had nematic liquid crystal structure.
