摘　　要：本文通过讲述后集体时代发生在一个中国村庄里的楼房竞赛故事,分析这一现象背后的农民平均主义心态。与动辄将平均主义归咎于中国传统文化的做法不同,文章利用田野资料,结合更宏大的历史文化背景,精心建构出一个故事脉络,以特别探讨集体化经历与这一心态形成之间的关系。Based on a detailed description of house building competition in a village during the post-collective era, this paper detects a kind of egalitarianism mentality concealed in that phenomenon. The author makes use of field data and related literature to construct a story line to interpret the making of peasant egalitarianism. Although the genesis of peasant egalitarianism can be found in the traditional culture, the author argues that the mentality mainly took shape in the process of collectivization.
