摘　　要：介绍了分形理论的基本概念,论述了分形理论在加工表面质量评定、刀具磨损、加工设备状态监测中的应用现状,对分形特征进行了数学描述,并提出了分形维数,关联维数的意义和计算方法。The basic concept of fractal theory is introduced, the state of the of applications of fractal theory to product surface quality evaluation, tool wear, the condition monitoring of machining equipment are reviewed, its fractal characterization is described. The means and the calculation method of the fractal dimension and the correlation dimension are given.
