摘　　要：信息技术、市场经济、新兴信息服务业是推进图书情报机构变革的基本决定力量。因此,我们提出图书情报机构现代化的基本选择是推进信息服务社会化、市场化、产业化,发展现代信息服务业,并分析了现代图书情报机构的两种生态。Infnrmation technology, market economy and the emerging information service industries is three crucial factors that drive the development of library and information organization, We bring forward that the basic choiees in the modernization of library and information organization are to expedite the socializstion markct - oriented, industrialization of information service and to develop modern information service industry. The paper also analyzes two patterns of information service of modern library and information organization.
