摘　　要：2005年世界原油价格首次突破70美元/桶,化学工业再次面对能源价格和原材料成本高涨的挑战。世界主要化工生产国的化学品产量实现增长,只有美国因遭受飓风袭击产量减少。世界各国的化学品贸易呈现一派繁荣景象。化工公司的利润继续增长,投资力度扩大,并希望通过进一步的整合提高竞争力。The price of crude oil firstly went higher than 70 US dollars per barrel in 2005, and the global chemical industry faced again the challenge from higher cost of energy sources and raw materials. The chemical production in major countries of chemical industry came up in 2005, except the go-down in USA for the cyclonic attacks in it. The chemical trade among countries flourished, and the profit of the companies kept increasing, with the scale-up of investment. They wish to improve their competitive power via more integration.
