摘　　要：和谐是中国古代重要的哲学理念之一,也是世界人类所共同追求和向往的美好理想。高等教育的和谐理念是当代中国和谐社会的内在要求,是培养大学生和谐人格的必然要求,所以应当把和谐理念贯穿于当代中国的高等教育改革和发展的全过程,只有这样才能实现高等教育的真正和谐。Notion of harmony, one of the most important philosophies in ancient China, is the ideal the people of the whole world commonly pursue and desire for. It is believed that notion of higher education is the inner need in modern harmonious society of China and the necessity of cultivating university students＇ personality of harmony as well. Therefore, only by applying notion of harmony in modern Chinese higher education can we realize true harmony of higher education.
