摘　　要：简明易懂论证了若Ｇ～Ｎｐ（０，Σ），Σ＞０与Ｗ～Ｗｐ（ｎ，Σ）相互独立且ｐ＜ｎ时，则ＧτΣ－１Ｇ／ＧτＷ－１Ｇ服从自由度为ｎ－ｐ＋１的χ２分布．This article simply and plainly proves that if G～N p(0,Σ) , in which Σ>0 , and W～W p (n, Σ) are independent of each other and p<n, then G τΣ -1 G/G τW -1 G accords with the χ 2 distribution whose degree of freedom is n-p+1 , thus establishing a corresponding relation between Hotelling distribution and F distribution.
